Write A To-Do List
Getting your life maintenance stuff out of your head and onto a piece of paper will give you the peace of mind that you don't have to focus on those items right now and tackle when you're ready.
One of the best antidotes I know for feeling better when you're in a rut is to go and move my body for a while. Get up and do some yoga, go for a walk, do some pushups and jumping jacks. Movement will get you out of your energetic funk and back into your flow.
Brainstorming is a part of my day for a good reason. Speak your ideas out loud to someone, or even better talk about your ideas with someone and get feedback. It's one of the best ways to fuel creativity. Find someone to engage in conversation with. You never know what may come up, and as the saying goes, sometimes two brains are better than one!
If moving and talking are not doing it for you, there is always stillness. Find a calm space and give your mind a break to just be and see what arises.
Go Have Some Fun
Get up and get out for some enjoyment! When you're in a state of fun, you are in a state of joy.
