The Beauty Of Blue

Blue is most commonly associated with harmony, faithfulness and confidence.  Did you know that the search for the perfect synthetic blue color lasted almost 300 years?  Before that, it was exclusively produced from grinding minerals like lapis, lazuli and azurite.  Blue nails are so hot now! And it’s not just nails, these days you can have blue hair or blue lips in almost any shade if you wish.  By the way, do you like blue?   It’s one of my favorite colors.  So, in honor of the beauty of blue, try this cool shade of blue nails and match it to your bright and beautiful blue eyeshadow.

Bronzed Goddess

The most important thing about applying bronzer is that you want it to look natural.  Sun-kissed!  Different types of bronzers require different application techniques.  Powder bronzer can be applied with a large brush.  Gather bronzer on the brush, then tap or blow on the brush to remove excess before applying.  Liquid, gel and cream bronzers can be applied with cosmetics sponges or your fingers.   Blend these bronzers carefully and thoroughly.  The most important thing to remember when applying bronzer is to avoid over-bronzing.  A touch of bronzer is really all you need for a perfect sun-kissed glow.

Spring Fling

I know most of the country is experiencing serious winter weather but here in California I've been loving these mild and warm afternoons.  Don't get me wrong... Oscar Season
